The 'Shroom
This is a native mushroom. It grows every year on a tree by my house and all the little kids think it's weird. I have no idea if it is poisonous, or why it always grows in the same space every year. Wen i was taking pictures I saw it growing in the winter and thought it would be a creative piece to display, as mushrooms don't often grow in the cold.
O' Christmas Tree
In this piece I chose to take a picture of a cut down tree. This is not my christmas tree, even though the title may have led you to believe that. This is a picture however of a tree my dad, and I cut down in our front yard and then brought it to the back to be composted. To mess around my dad and I set it up against another tree and told my younger brother it was our christmas tree. He was paranoid at this idea and we both found it hilarious. This is a memory of me and my dad messing with my brother and just all having fun.
T-P
This is a picture of a fort my friends and I helped to come together years ago. Sticks were falling from a dead tree by the bushel, on a particularly windy day. As they fell they were moved to lean against the tree to clean up the clutter. A kid Levi had the great idea of making a TP out of the sticks to use as our new fort. We still have the fort in my backyard even though we never go in it anymore. This is a great memory of hanging with friends years ago.
Jimmy The Tree
This is an old tree stump that my friends have been bashing for years. It has never fallen and we are all still mad about it to this day. My friend yelled out "CURSE YOU JIMMY!" one day after he hurt his hand bashing on the stump and it has been that ever since. This is another picture showing the great times and memories I have with my great friends in my neighborhood.
The Entrance
This is the first thing you see when u walk into the woods behind my house. It is a bunch of broken sticks, dead trees, brush, and other stuff, but I know it all by heart. If needed to I could walk through it in the dark or with my eyes closed. When I see this picture I remember all the great times I had with friends in the woods and al the memories I have created while back there messin' around.
